This cottage is of historic heritage significance because of its ability to demonstrate the principal characteristics of a single storey, weatherboard Victorian Georgian domestic building.
A symmetrical, single storey, weatherboard cottage with a corrugated iron gabled roof and a verandah under the broken-back main roof. The verandah has been enclosed and glazed at a later date, and the central door is a modern replacement.
This building is of historic heritage significance because its townscape associations are regarded as important to the community's sense of place.
